About Sennfield

Hi, we're Sennfield.

We got our start in 1991, not in a design studio, but on a family farm outside a small Texas town. Our founder had spent years building tables and chairs in the barn workshop after the day's fieldwork was done — pieces for neighbors, pieces for the county fair, pieces that were never meant to be sold, just built right. Word travels fast in a small town, and it wasn't long before that barn was turning out more furniture than any one family could use.

Where the name comes from

Sennfield is two things stitched together: the family name that started it all, and the field where the very first pieces were built by hand, one at a time, in the Texas heat. We kept the name because we never wanted to forget where we came from, even as the company grew well past that farm.

Our Mission

Our founder grew up flipping through home magazines, admiring rooms that always felt just out of reach — either the price tag or the polish made them feel like someone else's home, not yours. That stuck. So when the barn workshop became a real business, the rule was simple: build furniture solid enough to hand down, priced honestly enough that it doesn't feel like a splurge.

More than three decades later, still headquartered in Texas, that's still the whole idea. We're not chasing trends or padding margins — we're building the kind of furniture that earns its place in your home, for however long you want it there.

The Sennfield home

From that first barn in Texas to the furniture in your living room today, our goal hasn't changed: give you pieces you don't have to think twice about, because they're well made, honestly priced, and built for a home that's actually lived in.

Thanks for shopping with us. We think you'll feel the difference.
